Iconic Pieces for Chinese and Korean Chess

If you don't know Chinese, it can be hard getting used to the pieces Zillions of Games normally uses for Chinese and Korean Chess. I found a file with images for iconic Chinese chess pieces, and I meticulously transformed these images into an attractive set of pieces for playing Chinese or Korean chess with Zillions of Games. The zrf files I've included are simply the zrf files for Chinese and Korean chess with all the pieces set to the new images. The images have the same names as the originals but are initially in a separate directory. This will let you try them out without replacing the old images. If you decide that you like them better than the Chinese character images, you may copy them over the original images in the images/Chinese_Chess directory.

The file I got the images from is an Adobe Acrobat file called "The Really Cheap Xiang Qi/Tjyang Keui Set." Its author is Daniel Kian McKiernan, and he has given me permission to make these pieces available as freeware. You will find his articles on Chinese and Korean chess at http://132.239.206.10/~dmckiern/_other.htm.
