A new chess variant, called Delta PI was recently invented, and manufactured in limited quantities. In this variant, space ships try to destroy the home planet of the opponent. The game features laser blasts, shields with shield points, etc. The website of the manufacturer, Guys Board games lists little information on the game, except for a very brief description and ordering information.
