Sloppy Slippers

The name comes from a comment. This is an army for Chess with Different Armies where pieces omit the second and every other even cell in it's path.

Setup

Pieces

The Pieces, by equivalent FIDE pieces:

The Rooks: The Crowned Panda (Slip Dragon King/qRF)

This piece combines the moves of the Ferz, and the Slip Rook which is a Rook, but only to squares of different colour than the starting square. Thus, starting from a1 it can reach a2, a4, a6, a8, b1, d1, f1, and h1. It can be blocked on the fields it can reach, but jumps over pieces on the fields of the same colour as the starting field.

The Queen: The Oracle

The Oracle steps one in any diagonal or orthogonal direction, then turns 45 degrees & rides on even squares in this direction, ignores pieces between its destinations, but stops if landing square is occupied.

The Knights: The Sloppy Knight (fhNqbBbD)

This piece combines the moves of the forward half Knight, the backward slip Bishop, and the backward Dabbaba.

The Bishops: The War Bear (qBnD)

This piece combines the moves of the slip Bishop and the lame Dabbaba (Dabbaba restricted to making it's move in 2 {1,0} steps).
