The Last Mourning
I have used FIDE pieces with two exeptions:
- Pawns can move only one square and promote when they reach the end of any column.
- The Jester. The Jester, being the clown that he is, mocks the piece that you have moved on your last turn. Hence, if moved a knight on your previous turn, the Jester can move as a knight. If you wish to move a Jester once and then on the next turn, then he moves in the same manner as on the previos turn.

I thought that a lot of strong pieces in a small area would allow for some fairly strong tactical warfare. I have ran a few tests of this game and it seems to call for very precise play. I also put the king in the front lines. I was going to place him in the back, but I decided that if he was going to live he was going to have to work for it.
