Capture or kill

Rules

Instead capturing by replacement, one may optionally "shoot": capture without moving (pawns shoots diagonally forward). Pieces, wich are "killed" by shooting may never take part in game again. But if piece is captured by replacement, it changes side and it can be dropped on any empty square.

Dropping restrictions are optional. If you are playing shogi in this way, standart restrictions may be used. If you are playing FIDE chess, many different variants are possible, i can suggest these rules:
captured promoted pawns don't demote back to pawns. Dropped pawn always may make double step from 1st and 2nd ranks. It's not allowed to drop pawn on last rank.
