A small point, but it is better to describe the squares as 'removed', as Fergus Duniho does in his page on Wormhole Chess, rather than 'disappeared'. Disappear is what the squares do, not what is done to them.

We'll put two Partons and two Betzas since they have the most relevance to the old CVPage mentality. Great Parton rather has an Alice fixation or anyway uses Lewis Carroll to advantage. Parton does seem to get each concept right the first time, but behind the scenes there were probably incredible trials and errors, having honest respect for the audience.
