Drawing of Mongols playing Chess

Edward Strickland told us about this page.

On this webpage, L.U.Kisliouk describes the Mongolian Chess games of Shatar and Hiashatar. Shatar is relatively well known, but Hiashatar -- played on a 10 x 10 board with a pair of additional pieces per side called Bodyguards -- is all but unknown.
