The Narrow is the website of Shamus Shafer who makes custom chess boards and chess tables at very reasonable prices. Mr. Shafer has indicated that chess boards with unusual numbers of squares can be ordered:

"I try very hard to avoid the "template" mentality where the boards must be such and such size and so and so color, etc. "Custom" in my book should mean you get exactly what you want to your specs. If your contributors are interested in boards with additional squares, I'm positive I can accommodate them."
