Ken Franklin sent a Zillions-of-Games Rules file for Big Pawn Chess. This game follows the rules of Fischer Random Chess for a random setup of the game, and uses a 10 by 10 board with the two frequently used combination pieces: * Archbishop, moves like bishop or knight. * Chancellor, moves like rook or knight. Four of the pawns are replaced by Brawns: the can move an extra step forward from the second row. The game was a non-competing variant with the contest to design a chess variant featuring the number 10. Updated in August 2008 with an additional 8 by 8 board subvariant. Originally titled as Franklin Grand Chess.Download Instructions
