Here's a rather curious question: Suppose a Harvester was pinning a nightrider to the opposing king at a knight's distance away from it. The nightrider wouldn't be able to capture the piece pinning it because to do so would leave the king pinned. Which is what I believe. Or would it? It depends (I suppose) whether you consider captures to be instantaneous. This curiosity could arise after black's 6th move. What do you think? Has anyone encountered a similar situation?
